Week 9 was on doughnuts and waffles. Everybody had a different item to make and I made cake doughnuts. I under mixed the dough since it was still a bit shaggy, but they came out all right. The hardest part was using the doughnut fryer since a huge vat of scorching hot oil is never not intimidating. I managed not to burn myself or the doughnuts. I tossed half of them in cinnamon sugar and the rest in a glaze somebody else had prepared. It was a very interesting and tasty class that I thoroughly enjoyed.
