Week 15

Week 15 was our final exam. We were required to make and present 12 chocolate chip cookies, 6 danish pockets, and 12 eclairs. It was stressful for me especially because we had a fire drill right in the middle. My first set if eclair shells kept collapsing, so I was put behind because I had to make more. I think it was because my pate a choux was too runny. The cookies were simple and an easy break from the eclairs. Shaping and filling the Danish pockets was easy, but I underbaked them and they were doughy in the middle. I didn’t do horribly, but again, I didn’t do as well as I had hoped.
